LOUISIANA FLOOD RELIEF:
Can you help us fill our moving truck with much needed supplies that we can deliver to those in need? We leave first thing Saturday (August 27th) and need any donations by Friday the 26th.
As many of us know, the devastating floods in Louisiana and Mississipi were totally unexpected and caught everyone by surprise. In the wake of the flooding over 40,000 homes that were destroyed in these areas and the damage caused is devastating. We feel the need to help in any way we can and feel that loading up our companies moving truck with supplies is one small way we can help.
According to a recent article on CNN, "The catastrophic flood devastating Louisiana is now the worst natural disaster to strike the United States since Hurricane Sandy four years ago, the Red Cross said. 'Thousands of people in Louisiana have lost everything they own and need our help now,' said Brad Kieserman, the Red Cross' vice president of disaster services operations and logistics.
